Youth Mental Health First Aid

Powhatan County Public Schools is offering Youth Mental Health First Aid Training.
What: Training on how to help youth who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge
Who: Adults working with or caring for youth ages 12-18
When: October 25th, 9am-2:30pm
Where: Powhatan Landmark Center, 4290 Anderson Highway
Two hours of self-paced work is required to be completed 48 hours prior to the session. If all components of the course are not completed, a certificate cannot be awarded. Seating is limited. Additional sessions will be offered in the future. Bring lunch, some snacks, and be ready for a great day! 🙂
